Congratulations to U.S. Sen. Barrasso on his first speech in the Senate. As a business owner and outfitter, I was happy to hear him say that he will be passing the Snake Headwaters Legacy Act in the Senate.
The Snake and its tributaries are major economic engines in Wyoming and are important components of our wonderful natural resources which draw millions of visitors to our state each year.
Wild and scenic designation will benefit our rivers and our economy for generations to come. The Snake Headwaters legislation was very important to Craig Thomas, and we are fortunate to have Sen. Barrasso pick up the torch for a man who did so much for Wyoming. Well done, Sen. Barrasso.
