U.S. Sen. John Barrasso was on the mark in his first Senate speech. His announcement that he will put his name on the Snake River wild and scenic bill and move it through the Senate shows that Sen. Barrasso understands how important Wyoming's rivers are to our state, our businesses, and the people who enjoy these magnificent rivers.
As one who frequently fishes the Snake and other rivers in Wyoming, I know how special they are and what an attraction they are to the thousands of people who come to Wyoming to enjoy our natural resources.
Businesses such as my restaurant thrive on visitors who are drawn to beautiful natural places such as the Snake River. Thank you Sen. Barrasso for your commitment to protect our rivers and to help our economy prosper.
